How to choose a theme

We offer a small selection of themes by design. We maintain and update every theme we provide. When the number of similar themes grows, older ones usually stop receiving updates, and the differences between new themes become minimal. So we focus on a handful of themes with continuous updates.

Which Theme Should You Pick?

All our themes (except Bono) are designed for blogs. From an SEO perspective, they are all equally well-optimized.

Our themes share similar features like post sliders, breadcrumbs, built-in table of contents, ratings, social buttons, callout blocks, ad spots, and more.

Some themes have their own unique traits. Let’s start with those:

  • Reboot — our best-selling theme for content-heavy sites. It has a slightly more modern design and a homepage builder.
  • Root — a classic, simple, and clean theme for content projects. It includes all the essential modules and remains a favorite among our users.
  • Bono — a theme built for online stores. Unlike our other themes, Bono supports WooCommerce, but it also allows you to run a blog.
  • WPCommunity — designed for clubs and communities. Great for both open communities (like Pikabu, with free access) and private paid membership groups.
  • JournalX — a magazine-style theme without a traditional sidebar, featuring infinite scroll. A fresh layout and grid design.
  • Cook It — made for cooking websites, with recipe schema markup, handy forms to add ingredients, servings, steps, and nutritional info. It can also be used for other niches.
  • Yelly — optimized for viral traffic. Originally built for Facebook, now supports other social networks with plenty of social sharing buttons. Also works well for regular content sites.

If you’re working on a content-driven site, almost any theme will work. Focus more on the look and any special features you need. We keep all themes updated and maintained.

If you need a landing page, your best bet is to use page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg. In that case, you can pick Reboot and add a page builder. It lets you create pages without sidebars, menus, or other distractions.
