How to Set Up AMP and Turbo Pages?
Setting Up Yandex Turbo Pages
To configure Turbo Pages for Yandex, install and set up the Yandex Turbo plugin.
Next, you’ll need to add the RSS feed to Yandex Webmaster. Go to the Site Information > Turbo Pages section.
In the “Add RSS Feed” field, enter the URL to your feed and submit it for review. The validation usually takes just a few minutes. If everything is correct, you’ll see a confirmation status in Webmaster.
Below, you can configure general site settings—like a short site name and how your logo should display. You can also add your analytics tracking codes if you use them, and specify your Yandex Ads unit ID if you have one.
Setting Up AMP
To enable AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), install and configure the AMP plugin and Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP.
To verify AMP pages are working, open any post on your site and add /amp/
to the end of the URL. You’ll see a simplified, mobile-optimized version of your post.
Under SEO > AMP, you’ll find the Design tab where you can customize the look and feel of your AMP pages, set your brand colors, and upload your logo.
Note that Google Analytics needs to be set up separately for AMP pages. You can do this in the third tab of the AMP settings. Make sure to enter your tracking code in this format (replace UA-XXXXXXXX-X
with your own Analytics ID):
<script async custom-element="amp-analytics" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-analytics-0.1.js"></script>
Finally, to check your AMP pages in Google Search Console, go to Search Appearance > Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP).
